Skydiving Athlete - Inducted 1980

Robert "Bob" Smith has 1700 jumps to his credit, his Canadian and American riggers papers, and is a Canadian rated sky-diving instructor. He has won the Canadian Four Man Championship three times; the eight man twice; and the ten man once. In International competitions, he competed in three World Championships when the team won both the 1977 and 1979 Overall Nation and 4-man gold medals. In 1979, the Canadian Sports Federation named "Bob" Smith and his teammates the Top Amateur Team in Canada.
