Vic Stasiuk

Vic Stasiuk entered the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1949/50 and played in the minors and the NHL. He was on the 1952 and 1955 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup championship teams. In 1955/56 he was traded to Boston and in 1957 he was put on a line with Bronco Horvath, and Johnny Bucyk. The three became an offensive threat and were nicknamed the “Uke line” because of their Ukrainian heritage. He ended his NHL playing career in 1963 with a total of 183 goals and 254 assists (437 points) in 745 games.
