Marty Wood

Marty Wood, the son of a horse trainer and former bronc rider, won five Calgary Stampede Bronc Riding titles from 1954 to 1965. He won his first World Championship in Saddle Bronc in 1958 followed by two more championship titles in 1964 and 1966. Marty Wood rode broncs to qualify for fourteen national final appearances. He is the only rodeo competitor chosen as a Calgary Stampede Honourary Parade Marshall.
After Induction
