Robert Clark
Multisport Builder - Inducted 1974
Robert Clark coached midget and juvenile hockey teams from 1961 to 1966 during which time his team won the 1962 Southern Alberta Provincial "C" Championship. In 1960, he was elected to the Alberta Legislature. On July 4th, 1966, Robert Clark was appointed Minister of Youth -- the first in Alberta, and also the first such appointment in Canada. Robert Clark implemented many programs that benefited amateur sport in Alberta. Many of these programs have been copied by other province.

1981 - Retired from the Legislative Assembly Since
1981 – became actively involved in Midget Hockey in Central Alberta – especially in the community of Carstairs.
Late 1980’s – became General Manager of the Olds Grizzly’s of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. During this time the Grizzley’s won the AJHL Championship in 1992, 1993, & 1994. In 1994 the Grizzley’s were the National Centennial Cup Champions. He stopped his involvement with the Grizzley’s when he became Ethnics Commissioner and Alberta’s first Information and Privacy Commissioner for the Alberta Legislative Assembly.
