John Gattens

John Gattens service in soccer has ranged from refereeing and coaching to being a founding member of leagues for children and youths, the Alberta Major Soccer League and the Canadian Minor Soccer Association. He was an executive with the Edmonton Maple Leaf Athletic Club, the Edmonton Monarchs Senior Hockey Club, and the Edmonton Minor Hockey Association. John Gattens also directed the Edmonton Maple Leaf Bantam Football program and helped to organize local and provincial bantam leagues.
