Clare Hollingsworth

Clare Hollingsworth has significantly contributed to baseball, softball, and basketball both as an administrator and as a coach. In softball, he served on local, provincial, and national association boards from 1939 to 1957. In basketball, he also served on the executives of the high school board in Edmonton and the Canadian Amateur Association from 1939 to 1975. He coached girl’s softball from 1930 to 1946 during which time his teams won thirteen city championships and three Alberta championships. From 1932 to 1956, Clare Hollingsworth coached men and women's basketball winning twenty-four city championships, twelve Alberta championships and three Prairie championships.
