Tom Inkster
Wrestling Builder - Inducted 2000
Tom Inkster has been involved in amateur wrestling as an athlete, coach, official, and administrator for more than 37 years. Some of his many accomplishments include winning 13 Provincial Championships as an athlete, training 105 Provincial and 7 National Champions as a coach, officiating - provincially for 27 years - 22 years nationally and 14 years internationally. He served on the Executive Boards of the Calgary Amateur Wrestling Association (29 years) and the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association (6 years). His many awards include the FILA Gold Star, three-time recipient of the Alberta Amateur Wrestling Association Outstanding Contributor Award, an honorary lifetime member of the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Officials Association, and induction into the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Association Hall of Fame, and induction into the Calgary Hall of Fame. He has been a guiding force for wrestling at all levels, providing a model that all - athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators - can follow.

2003 – “Tom Inkster Trophy” for most outstanding wrestler in Calgary High Schools, Annual Award
2007 – “Tom Inkster Trophy” for 3A Provincial High School Team Champion, Annual Award
2009 – Lifetime Contributor Award, Alberta Amateur Wrestling Association
2010 – Long term service award, Alberta Amateur Wrestling Association
