L.E. “Bud” Olson

Bud Olson began the first of his twenty years as a Director of the Edmonton Curling Club in 1945 and served as their president for three years. He was an executive member of the Northern Alberta Curling Association from 1948 to 1968 and served a term as president. "Bud" Olson was an executive delegate to the Canadian Curling Association for nineteen years; chairman of the National Senior's Playdowns for eight years; president of the Canadian Curling Association for one term; and, chairman of the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in the late 1970s.
