Margaret Scott
Synchronized Swimming Builder - Inducted 1976
Margaret Scott has been actively involved with synchro swimming since 1960 and in her younger years swam with the Royal Life Saving Society Synchronized team. She organized and coached the swimming program at the Calgary Winter Club for ten years. Margaret Scott also coached the Canadian diving team during their tour of South America and was the speed swimming team's assistant manager at the Pan American Games in Columbia. As a nationally rated judge, she trains both coaches and judges. Margaret Scott has served on many executives and committees in the aquatics field and has received several awards for her work, including the Rose Kohn Memorial Award in 1969.
After Induction
Marg was a member of Vancouver's first Synchronized Swimming Team and has participated in the sport as an athlete, coach, and judge almost all her entire life.
